U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) issued the following statement on today's summit in Singapore:
"Strong American leadership and diplomacy have brought North Korea's Kim Jong Un to the table for historic talks, marking the first step toward a denuclearized North Korea. This framework is a path toward peace on the Korean Peninsula, and sanctions and international pressure must continue to hold North Korea accountable while the process continues. I look forward to upcoming briefings for members of Congress about the agreement and these negotiations."
